Welcome to Vaughan Elementary School’s website. I am so excited that you have chosen to learn more about our school. My name is Renee Mizelle and I am the principal. Vaughan Elementary School is a small, Title I school in rural North Carolina. We are also a school that made AYP for the 2010-2011 school year!! What an accomplishment. We are so proud of our students. Vaughan Elementary School has also met expected growth for the past two school years.

As always, I look forward to working diligently with the students, parents, staff and other stakeholders this school year. As a team we will continue to make Vaughan Elementary School the best place to learn in our community.

At Vaughan Elementary we pride ourselves in the high expectations we hold for student performance, in the safe, clean and orderly learning environment we provide for our students, in having a highly qualified instructional staff, and wonderful parent, community and business support.
